Chisara Okehi, LCSW is the founder of Breakthrough Bliss LLC, an emotional wellness practice dedicated to supporting individuals as they move beyond survival and toward healing, clarity, and wholeness. As a licensed clinical social worker with a master’s degree in Clinical Social Work and over fifteen years of experience in mental health and emotional wellness, Chisara brings a thoughtful, clinically informed approach to every aspect of her work.

Her practice is shaped by both professional training and lived experience. Having navigated complex trauma and emotional adversity, Chisara understands the impact of unresolved experiences on identity, relationships, and self worth. This insight informs a compassionate, grounded approach that helps clients address the roots of emotional patterns rather than simply managing symptoms.

Through individualized coaching, group programs, and empathetic support services, Chisara helps clients develop emotional insight, boundaries, and self trust. Her work focuses on equipping individuals with practical tools and language to understand their experiences, regulate emotions, and make intentional choices aligned with their values.

Chisara is also the author of I Need Help: A Story of Trauma, Trials, and Triumphs, a memoir that reflects her commitment to honesty, healing, and personal accountability. As a speaker, coach, and mental health advocate, she is dedicated to creating spaces where women feel seen, supported, and empowered to rewrite their narratives.

At Breakthrough Bliss, her mission is clear: to support meaningful healing, restore a sense of agency, and help individuals build lives rooted in authenticity rather than survival.

The Story Behind Breakthrough Bliss

From Survival to Healing, and Supporting Others Along the Way

I’m Chisara Okehi, LCSW, the founder of Breakthrough Bliss LLC. This work is deeply personal, not because it centers my story, but because I understand what it means to move through life in survival mode and eventually choose healing.

My journey did not begin with clarity or confidence. It began with navigating childhood trauma, emotional wounds, and long periods of feeling unseen and emotionally overwhelmed. Like many of the women I now support, I learned how to function, achieve, and care for others while quietly carrying unprocessed pain. Healing came later, through sustained therapy, self reflection, education, and the difficult work of facing what had been avoided for years.

That process reshaped not only my life, but my purpose. I earned a master’s degree in Clinical Social Work, became a licensed clinical social worker, and pursued advanced training in mental health and emotional wellness. I learned that healing is not about fixing yourself. It is about understanding your experiences, restoring self trust, and building a life that no longer requires constant survival.

Breakthrough Bliss LLC was created from that understanding. It is not a motivational platform or a quick fix approach. It is a space grounded in compassion, clinical insight, and respect for the complexity of healing. Through coaching, group work, and supportive services, I help women reconnect with themselves, develop emotional clarity, and move forward with intention rather than fear.

This journey is also reflected in my memoir, I Need Help: A Story of Trauma, Trials, and Triumphs, which speaks to the power of honesty, accountability, and support in the healing process. It is the foundation of how I show up in this work, with presence, integrity, and care.

Healing does not mean you were broken. It means you are responding to what you have lived through.

If you are ready to move forward, you do not have to do it alone. We can walk this next chapter together.
